Abstract
This research aimed at studying and investigating the manuscript titled: “The message of pleasure of hearing in singular and plural assimilation” to the scholar Issam Al-Din Ahmed bin Mustafa Tashkubari Zadeh (964 AH.). It is a linguistic message that deals with a problematic grammatical semantic representation of the nature of assimilation in both the singular and plural, and the function of each, and the extent to which that assimilation is affected by the significance of each of them on genres; where the author was exposed to a number of quotes or sayings that dealt with this problem, supporting some and opposing others. To achieve these aims, the researchers have used the historical inductive method to identify the author and his manuscript, and the validity of its attribution. Moreover, they have used the descriptive method in presenting the author's approach, and explaining his style. The research was divided into two parts: the first section dealt with the study of the author, and the message. As for the second section, it deals with scientific investigating of the text of the message. Then a conclusion with the most important results and recommendations were included.
