Dara I, his rule and achievements (522-486 BC)
Abstract
Ancient history in the Near East and the world witnessed the emergence of active personalities who left their mark as a testament to their brilliance and excellence. Dara I (522-486 BC) is one of these important personalities. Because of the works and achievements of this king, which greatly affected the ancient history of Iran, especially in the Achaemenid period, and the history of the ancient Near East during this period. In addition to his architectural achievements, the remnants of which still testify to the power of the Achaemenid Empire during his reign, these features that distinguished Dara I are what made him a theoretical focus to be the subject of this research, given the strength that the Achaemenid Empire reached during his reign, and to shed light on his reign and the events the task during which it occurred.
