A comparison between the tragedy of immortal love between Arabic and Chinese literature

Abstract

  This research aims to present a comparison of the similarities and differences of the tragedy of eternal love between the Arabic and Chinese literature, and adopted the comparative approach in studying this phenomenon, and this study returned to the dramatic arts, tools and techniques, to root out its characters, so it adopted the Arab tragedy (Layla's Crazy) and the Chinese legend (Butterfly Lovers）To examine the apparent similarities and profound differences .
